The national park area with the mountain peak, valley, lake, and rivers in and around the Langtang mountain region is identified by the Langtang Range. The mountain range located at the lower altitude as compared to the other mountain rage The Langtang mountain range also lies as the natural border between Nepal and China. The Langtang mountain range along with the Gosainkunda lies into the Langtang national park.
This National park is the home of various vegetation and wildlife. The green bamboo bushes are the home of the protected red panda. The mountain goats, pangolin, musk deers and the snow leopard are the protected species of this national park.
The Buddhist cultural lifestyle of the people can be seen in the form of stupas, chaityas and Mane wall as we pass through the villages. The Langtang peak, Gosaikunda lake, and the green pastures are the highlights of this trek.
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu (TIA), our representative from Hillstrek will be there to pick you up. You will be transfer to hotel by private vehicle. We discuss about our trip and you will have a time for refreshment. In the evening we will be together. We will enjoy the welcome dinner in typical Nepalese restaurant with cultural performance.
A city tour guide will come to receive you after the breakfast. You will take a half day sightseeing tour to the UNESCO protected world heritage site in kathmandu. The trekking guide will come to visit you in the late afternoon . He will brief you about your trekkings and also do the last hour preparation.
After breakfast , you will start to drive to Syabrubesi . The 6-7 hours drive from kathmandu you will see the amazing landscapes . The Nuwakot valley situated next to the Trishuli river . the green hill with the village set up on the hills are the mesmerizing part of this drive. As the road start towards the rasuwa district you will experience the steep drop hills and landslide and eventually you pass through the Dhunche bazar to syabrubesi . where you stay overnight.
After the breakfast this morning we start our trek crossing suspension bridge over the Bhote Koshi River. Walking next to the river as we further pass by we will soon be walking through the forest. The mountain evergreen forest with the beautiful and amazing landscape we reach to our destination. The lama hotel, the small village set up on the lap of hill.
The great views of Langtang lirung awaits as we advance along the langtang river. This is the famous place called Ghodatabela where the tired trekkers take a rest and enjoys the lunch with the great view . The langtang can be reached through the village of Thangshyap. Our this days 5-6 hour trek ends here.
This day we will have a very short trek of 3-4 hours . The trail slowly ascends to the beautiful valley called Kyangjin gompa. We can have an easy lunch and a free afternoon to enjoy the view of the soaring high mountains .
This is an acclimatization day . you can walk in the village to see the gompas and the cheese factories in the morning and in the afternoon you can hike toward the Tsergo Ri or the nearby hills as to keep you feel better with the mountain thin air. This leisure day will end here at the kyangjin.
This is a day we descend . We start this day trek after break fast . We follow the same trail of ghoretabela and langtang. We will have a time to re observe the natural beauty which was unexplored on our first ascend. After a 6- 7 hours walk back down we reach to the Lama hotel for the overnight.
After the breakfast we head towards the thulo syabru. As the trail continues through the deciduous alpine forest we reach to bamboo through Pahiro. The trail continues as it splits uphill towards the thulo syabru. After 5-6 hours trek for this day we reach to thulo syabru where we stay overnight.
This day we trek through the beautiful rhododendron and pine forest. The muk khraka is the first village we advance . The mountain cow called Chauri is found grazing all through the green pastures and the chirping of the wild birds and rare view of the mountain Antelpoes add the flavor to the trek. The Chelang Pati seated in the middle of the green lush forest provides a very cosy space for the trekkers to enjoy the day lunch. The trail then extends uphill to Lauri Bina the top hill where we can see the view of the mountain and hills wide and beyond. This evening we will enjoy the magnificent view of the sun set and wrap off our 5-6 hour trek of the day.
After morning breakfast at Lauri Bina the trail ascends through the green hill and bushes mountain herbs and the view of the Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and Manaslu range, Hiunchuli and Tibetan peak . gradually start through the steep hills slope and the landslides carved trail , we reach to Gosaikunda after 4-5 hours. Here , we will have our stay at the hotel near the great holy lake of Gosaikunda.
Early this morning we can hike around the Gosaikunda lake. This is being the holy lake , we can see lot of hindu pilgrims offering their religious rituals. After the break fast , we can continue to hike back the same trail through Lauribina to Sing Gompa. The Singh Gompa is also called as the Chandan Bari and also famous for the Yak cheese factory. Nestled in between the green forest with the great view of the hills , this is an ideal place for the trekkers to have a peaceful overnite.
This Morning after breakfast as we start from Sing Gompa, trail directly drop downhill to Dhunche via small village of Ramche and other village along the route. After about 4 hours downhill we reach at Dhunche. Dhunche the district headquarter of the rasuwa district is a small town which offers the hospitality to the Nepali pilgrims as well as the foreigners who come to witness the beauty of the langtang region.
After break fast we start our drive from Dhunche. The 5-6 hours strenuous drive through the hill , valley and the forest takes you to kathmandu. After reaching kathmandu you will have a free day to scout around the Thamel where you can have a massage or a good time . This evening you will join a farewell dinner with the crew members.
This day you will be transferred to the airport for the departure . you are supposed to reach the airport before 3 hours than your flight time.
