Changunarayan is a small hillock located north of Bhaktapur. The hill of Changunarayan is famous for the temple of Bishnu called here as ‘change Narayan’. The small cultural town still holds the beauty of old traditional Newari settlement. Starting from Changunarayan to Nagarkot is one of the most popular day hiking routes of Kathmandu valley.

Itinerary

• Day-1 - Changunarayan to Nagarkot Hiking

  After the breakfast from the Kathmandu hotel you will be dropped to Changunarayan as for starting point. Through the forest and village the panoramic view of Mountains on the north makes the hike very special. After 4-6 hour one can reach Nagarkot. Nagarkot is the small hill top nestled between the forest and old village. One can forget all the tiredness after reaching there. After some rest you will be picked up from Nagarkot to Kathmandu.
