Dhampus is a small hill located north af Pokara beside the Sarangkot hill. Inhabitated by the people of Gurung and Magar community and also known as Gurkha soldier’s village.Dhampus the earliest known as the starting point to the Annapurna Base Camp trekkers. Australian camp the most scenic hill top on the same range of Dhampus. The first Australian Expedition team had made their first camp at this hill top and later on went popularly known as the Australian Camp.
